By using Date Me's website and purchasing our products, you agree to these terms.

1. General

2. Products

We sell chocolate-covered Medjool dates in various flavors and subscription boxes. All products are perishable (shelf life: 3 months room temperature, 6 months refrigerated — store properly upon receipt). We strive for accurate product descriptions; colors may vary slightly from photos, and handmade products may vary slightly in appearance. Full ingredients are listed on each product page.

3. Ordering

Add products to cart, proceed to checkout, and provide accurate shipping/billing information. You'll receive an order confirmation email when your order is placed, and a shipping confirmation when it ships. We reserve the right to refuse or limit any order; in the event of a pricing error, we'll contact you and offer to cancel.

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in euros, include VAT where applicable, and are subject to change without notice — the price at time of order applies. Payment is due at time of order and processed securely by Shopify Payments or Stripe; we don't store your payment information. Promotional codes are limited to one per order unless stated otherwise and may be cancelled at any time.

See our Shipping Policy for full details. We ship to Monaco, France, the EU, and internationally; you're responsible for providing a correct delivery address.

6. Returns & Refunds

See our Refund Policy for full details. Perishable products cannot be returned; damaged or spoiled orders are eligible for a full refund or replacement if reported within 48 hours of delivery with photos.

7. Subscriptions

Subscriptions auto-renew each billing period and are charged to the payment method on file; you'll receive an email before each charge. Cancel anytime before your next billing date by emailing dateme.snack@gmail.com — already-shipped orders are final. You can modify your frequency or flavors by contacting us at least 3 days before your next billing date.

8. Food Safety & Sourcing

All products are handcrafted in our Monaco workshop using Medjool dates sourced from Jordan, in accordance with EU Regulation (EC) No 852/2004 and HACCP principles, with full batch traceability. Full allergen, nutritional, and sourcing details are available on our Food Safety & Allergens page and on each product page — please read them carefully if you have allergies.

9. Intellectual Property

Our website design, text, photos, logos, product names, and quiz content are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or scrape our content, or use our brand assets without permission. If you submit content to us (reviews, photos), you grant us a license to feature it, including on social media — tag @dateme.snack if you'd like us to share it.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, product consumed after its expiration date, allergic reactions where allergen information was provided, or shipping/customs delays beyond our control. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product, and this does not affect your statutory rights.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Date Me against claims arising from your violation of these terms, applicable law, or third-party rights.

12. Privacy

See our Privacy Policy. By using our site, you consent to data collection as described there.

13. Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by Monaco law; EU consumer protection laws apply where applicable. Please contact us first at dateme.snack@gmail.com so we can try to resolve things amicably. Unresolved disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the Monaco courts; EU consumers may also use the ODR platform.

14. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time; changes are effective when posted, and continued use of our site constitutes acceptance. We'll notify you by email of material changes.

17. Entire Agreement
