When you order: name, email, phone number, shipping/billing address (payment is processed by Shopify Payments — we don't store card details)
When you create an account: email, encrypted password, order history, saved addresses
When you contact us: email content, Instagram/WhatsApp messages, customer service interactions
When you use our flavor quiz: quiz responses, result preferences, and optionally your name for personalized results

Information collected automatically

IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, time on site, and referral source — via essential cookies (cart/checkout), analytics cookies (Google Analytics), and marketing cookies (Instagram Pixel, with consent). See our Cookie Policy for details.

How We Use Your Information

To fulfill orders: process payment, ship products, send confirmations, provide customer service
To improve your experience: remember preferences, personalize recommendations, remember quiz results
To communicate with you: order updates, shipping notifications, replies to inquiries, and marketing (only if you opt in)

Your Rights (EU/GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct, or erase your data, receive it in a portable format, object to processing for marketing, and withdraw consent at any time. Email dateme.snack@gmail.com with "DATA REQUEST" in the subject — we'll respond within 30 days.

Data Sharing

We share data with Shopify (hosting, cart, checkout), payment processors (Shopify Payments, Stripe), shipping carriers, and analytics providers (Google Analytics) strictly to run our business. We do not sell your data, share it with third parties for their own marketing, or spam you.

International Transfers

Some of our service providers (e.g. Shopify, Google Analytics) are located outside the EU/Monaco and comply with GDPR through approved transfer mechanisms.

Children's Privacy

Our products are not marketed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Security

We use SSL encryption, PCI-compliant payment processing, and password encryption. No system is 100% secure, but we do our best to protect your data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy; changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date. We'll email you about material changes if we have your email.
